Company History
The roots of today's Inductron Group go back to 1972 at which time, Siemens AG founded the company as part of the group for the development and manufacture of high-quality inductive components.
While the focus at that time was still on components for high-voltage and high-frequency technology, today Inductron supplies many companies from a wide variety of industries with inductive components of all types and sizes. In the 1980s, the portfolio was expanded to include SMD inductors for radar and radio equipment.
In addition, vacuum casting technology was used for the use of components under difficult environmental conditions in series production. In 1989, the company was taken over by Vacuum Schmelze GmbH & Co. KG, and the development of inductors for other applications, such as rail technology, was added as a further focus.
Inductron Inductive Electronic Components GmbH was founded in 2003 and the portfolio was again expanded to include inductors for many other sectors such as the aviation industry, medical technology and a variety of areas that depend on high-quality and reliable inductive components.
In 2015, the company moved to a new and larger location in Schrobenhausen in order to be able to adjust capacities to the increasing demand.
